Junior Squash Coaching and School Packages

Make friends, communicate and get fit.

The Queensland Squash Academy holds Junior Holiday Squash Camps every first week of the school holidays. Generally the main aim of these camps is to improve your child’s squash skills and fitness, whether they are at a beginner or advanced level. Anyone from ages 6 to 18 is welcome at these camps. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a few tips and tricks, improve overall fitness, meet new people and most importantly, have a lot of fun!

We aim to expose kids to other aspects of sport as well and therefore we also incorporate other activities such as volleyball, swimming and surfing lessons to name but a few.

Kids are welcome to bring their friends too – in fact it is encouraged! Any child signed up for one of our camps that gets their friend to sign up as well will receive a 5% discount on the price of the camp. So bring your friends, or your brothers and sisters and come and have some fun at the Queensland Squash Academy!

Apart from developing future athletes, QSA places a major focus on the development of friendships, trust, respect for opponents and officials, and sportsmanship that at times, is lacking in other junior sports.

QSA has regular junior coaching camps through school holiday periods but can also arrange sessions during school terms. QSA provides schools with an extra-curricular option to fulfil their sporting demands, and apart from being outstanding squash coaches, understand the importance of community relationships, and win-win corporate relationships.

School Visits

The Queensland Squash Academy will launch our new innovation in 2009. We wish to generate an interest in squash at schools as well. This is an excellent opportunity to add this option to your schools extra curricular activities.

What do these sessions involve?

The main focus of the sessions will be to improve kids racquet and ball skills, which they can use for a range of other sports later in life. The exercises have been carefully designed to give an overall view of sport and fitness from squash players and trainers who have played and performed at a professional level.

How much will this cost?

To make it affordable and accessible to all we aim to keep our prices as low as possible. Schools can sign up a number of children in a class who pay and participate on a weekly basis.

This is an excellent way of introducing a new sport into your schools system, so contact the Queensland Squash Academy now to make arrangements to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.

If you are a parent, or school representative, please contact QSA for more information on the options available to your child or students.
